On June 7th, 2006, Becker Law and its colleagues from Schwartz Cooper Chtd. Chicago, conducted a seminar at the New York County Lawyers Association titled International Collection- It's a Different World.  CLE credits were provided. Speakers from the two firms were Rick Rein, Bethany Schols, Robert Anguizola and Eugene Becker. In October, Eugene Becker and Rick Rein presented a paper on international asset recovery at the NW3C Global Conference on Economic and High-tech Crime, in Washington.(www.nw3c.org) Also, in October 2007, Eugene Becker gave a keynote address on asset recovery strategies at the Southern African Certified Fraud Examiners' Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa. In May 2008, in Brussels, Becker Law was a proud co-sponsor of the annual Brussels-based conference on Arbitration and Mediation held under the auspices of the Association for International Arbitration and the African, Caribbean and Pacific-European Union Group (ACP-EU), at the ACP-EU's Conference Center in Brussels.
